The Modern Way to Socialize

In the pre-written days our society communicated through song and story telling. Many gifted individuals found fame and adventure by travelling from village to village spreading the events of the day. Later in time, as language developed into script, individuals were able to write letters, cards and other print media to share information. With the age of the computer, email was invented, then forums and blogs. Today, savy developers have created social networking programs that allow individuals to email, blog, create forms, advertise and in some sites earn extra revenue all in one place. Members can customize their own web pages, edit profiles and even add to the content of other members. All this can be done on mass, information sent to any entire network on a global scale in a matter of moments. Amazing and frieghtening at the same time.
